Native of the Eastern Europe, tailors’ granddaughters, we worked of long years in the childish fashion and in underwear for mythical brands. .

Of our friendship, our professional relationships, our expertise and of our passion for the children, was born a new brand of qualitative, fashionable clothes.

The creation of the brand?

The brand was created in 2007 and the first collection was in shops in summer 2010

Why this name Emile and Ida?

And no it is not the first names of our children ! ... but that of my parents who express a side "retro", mixed brand and whose association is unique! ... And very personal.

How many persons works for Emile and Ida?

We are a team of 10 persons in complementary skills. Offices are in France, just near Paris. We have a person in Portugal which manages and watches the production and the quality of products.

What inspires us?

We love the vintage, old pieces, romantic and Old Lace especially for the little girl and boys 50 years, Rock'n roll spirit and color.
